Thunder pitchers were magnificent, but the offense nearly lost them the game. Trenton rallied for a run to tie the score in the top of the ninth and then broke out in extra innings with a grand slam by Angelini.

Some sloppy O'Brien defense ended up being the difference in the game. Hits were even at ten a piece but Tampa couldn't complete the comeback with two runs in the eighth inning.
