Alex Rodriguez won the baseball game yesterday. Coincidentally, the Yankees also won yesterday's game against the Rays. These two things are related. There's no doubt that A-Rod is the best hitter on the team right now. There's also no doubt that he's currently batting sixth in the order. Unless Carlos Beltran does indeed have a 3-hole clause we do not know about, it's hard to understand why Girardi has not made any changes. Perhaps we'll see one tonight. Perhaps.

Today's final entry into Songs from Anime Week comes from Inuyashi. This anime had a lot of classic, cheesy anime endings. This song was definitely no exception. If you have any ideas for next week's theme, please let us know. As always, please link us your Song of the Day.
Feel free to use this as an open thread. It's Tanaka Time tonight as Masahiro Tanaka takes the mound at Tropicana Purgatory. Game time is at 7PM. Game thread time is at 6:30PM. There's no better way to spend your Saturday night.
