Game 14: Chicago Cubs at New York Yankees: Hamel vs. Tanaka

Jeff Zelevansky

The Cubs come to the Bronx for Jackie Robinson Day

Loading Scores

It's the first game of a doubleheader, as Masahiro Tanaka/Michael Pineda takes the mound.

The Yankees will have a revamped bench; #4 prospect John Ryan (don't call me JR!) Murphy on his way to Yankee Stadium, along with infielder Scott Sizemore.

Cubs starter Jason Hammel came to the Cubs from Baltimore on a one year deal, but the Yankees have seen him before. He was at his best against the Yankees last season, winning two out of three games (no decision in the third), allowing only 5 ER in 17.2 IP, despite giving up 20 hits and 5 walks.
