How actually would the 2013 Yankees performed in 2006?

A common joke last season was that the Yankees were a great 2006 team, but merely average 2013 team. With that in mind, I decided, well let's see how much truth there is to that. (NOTE: All stats are from baseball reference, and all players are guys who were either in one game or readily available in the minors).

Chris Stewart (.000, 0 HR, 0 RBI, 2 K, 8 AB, -0.1 WAR) Yes, that's negative WAR in just 6 games

Lyle Overbay (.312, 22 HR, 92 RBI, 5 SB, .372 OBP, .508 SLG, 3.2 WAR)

Robinson Cano (.342, 15 HR, 78 RBI, 5 SB, .365 OBP, .525 SLG, 3.2 WAR)

Vernon Wells (.303, 32 HR, 106 RBI, 17 SB, .357 OBP, .542 SLG, 6.2 WAR)

Ichiro Suzuki (.322, 9 HR, 49 RBI, 45 SB, .370 OBP, .416 SLG, 5.3 WAR)

Travis Hafner (.308, 42 HR, 117 RBI, .439 OBP, .659 SLG, 5.9 WAR)

Curtis Granderson (.260, 19 HR, 68 RBI, .335 OBP, .438 SLG, 8 SB, 3.3 WAR)

Alfonso Soriano (.277, 46 HR, 95 RBI, 41 SB, .351 OBP, .560 SLG, 6.1 WAR)

Alex Rodriguez (.290, 35 HR, 121 RBI, 15 SB, .392 OBP, .523 SLG, 4.5 WAR); between two 9.4 WAR seasons)

Kevin Youkilis (.279, 13 HR, 72 RBI, .381 OBP, .429 SLB, 2.7 WAR)

Derek Jeter (.343, 14 HR, 97 RBI, 34 SB, .417 OBP, .483 SLG, 5.5 WAR)

Mark Teixeira (.282, 33 HR, 110 RBI, .371 OBP, .514 SLG, 4.4 WAR)

Travis Ishikawa (the guy who played one game): (-0.1 WAR in 12 G)

CC Sabathia (12-11, 3.22 ERA, 192.2 IP, 1.173 WHIP, 3.91 K/BB, 4.6 WAR)

Andy Pettitte (14-13, 4.20 ERA, 214.1 IP, 1.437 WHIP, 2.54 K/BB, 1.5 WAR)

Boone Logan (0-0, 8.31 ERA, 21 G, 2.077 WHIP, 1.0 K/BB, -0.5 WAR)

Mariano Rivera (5-5, 1.80 ERA, 34 S, 0.960 WHIP, 5.0 K/BB, 3.9 WAR)

Chris Bootcheck (0-1, 9.58 ERA, 4 G, 2.129 WHIP, -0.3 WAR)

(Eduardo Nunez, Jayson Nix, Brett Gardner, Austin Romine, Mark Reynolds, Zoilo Almonte, Brendan Ryan, Francisco Cervelli, Brent Lillibridge, Alberto Gonzalez, Hiroki Kuroda, Phil Hughes, Ivan Nova, David Robertson, and many others did not play.)

Total WAR Value: 59.3

Average WAR per player (18 Total): 3.29

Based on a replacement-level team winning 48 games, this team would go 107-55 even if the rest of the team was filled with replacement-level players. Not too bad, I'd say; if only they could have done that in 2013 too.
