Hurting for Coaching

Hunting for the next names to be dreamed up for coaches. Erik Hinske turned down an interview, Chili Davis was bought out by Boston. Magadan was a no. Hideki Matsui, what happened to him? Raul Ibanez is next up for the rumor mill. Let's play "Where are they now" and a "who's who" of former players; maybe we can find someone who can and will be our next hitting and 1st base coach or 3rd Base Coach.

Clubber :

Dave Winfield- Inspirational speaker...hey maybe that's what we need.

Paul O'Neill- In the Yes booth, but no desire to coach

Bernie Williams-Musically Inspired to move on

Harold Baines- White Sox assistant hitting instructor

Wade Boggs- Coaching amateur baseball

How about seeing if Edgar Martinez or the Big Hurt want to coach, wouldn't that be interesting?

Who or I don't know :

Homer Bush- a financial advisor, hope that's going well, how about coaching?

Tim Raines- Newark Bears Manager last I read

If we are going to think outside the box, how about ARod as a player coach?

-If ARod is the DH, he will have times on his hands and he's a tireless worker. Would give him focus to be locked into the game. Would feed his ego. He was always one to help out the younger players coming up... well ...pretty much everyone is a younger player now. "Those who can't do(anymore), teach..."
