Long-time first-time here.
Trading Curtis Granderson seems to me like a no brainer by this point. Last year he went from a well-rounded hitting powerhouse (142 OPS+ in 2011) to a somewhat low avg/obp guy who relied mostly on the long ball. He'll be a free agent come October, and the Yankees would be better off trying for someone like Choo than resigning Grandy. I have pretty low hopes for this season (you should to0), so the smart move is to rent Grandy (and maybe Hughes and Joba if they have any value) out to a contender for a prospect (think Beltran for Wheeler). So where?
The D-backs are in the midst of a tight race in the NL West and could use an OF bat to replace the subpar Pollock and Ross. SS Didi Gregorious is already producing at the Major League level, so I doubt think they'll trade him, but pitchers Tyler Skaggs (BA #12, having meh season in AAA) and Archie Bradley (BA #25, has a 2.05 ERA in AAA) might be available, as would 3B Matt Davidson (.839 OPS in AAA, BA #88, would be a Hell of a lot better than David Adams probably). Maybe slumping sophmore Wade Miley would be available too.
