Help Wanted: Recaps

This could be you! - Patrick Smith

Hey everyone,

As you all know we've been trying to expand the Pinstriped Bible staff and one of our remaining open positions is a writer that can cover recaps. We felt that the best way to fill the position was to open it up to the community and get you guys involved.

Job Description: Writing recaps after games each Monday and occasionally helping cover for another writer if they are unavailable.

The requirements are pretty simple: Recapping the game in a timely manner by posting your article as soon as possible (45 minutes or less) is essential. Your article needs to be grammatically correct and self-edited before it is posted. Length isn't that important, but your recap should cover all the key points of the game without becoming the length of Moby Dick. Usually between 400-900 words is sufficient. Reliability is also important, which means being around on your scheduled day. We understand that things can come up, so you'll be able to switch days with another writer if you need someone to cover you.

If this sounds like something you would like to do, comment below and we will work out a trial run. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Please note: If you are hired, PB writers are required to use their real name in the byline of their articles! (jetanumba2 = Jason Cohen, WhatwouldJeterdo = Tanya Bondurant, etc.)
