All right guys, this is my third post in about as many days but I thought of a trade proposal that would make sense for both clubs. The proposed trade would be Drew Storen and Anthony Rendon for a package centered around Gary Sanchez. This would restock the Nationals farm system without necessarily hurting them in the present, while making the Yankees better for the present as well as the future. Storen had a bad year last year and could use a change of scenery while Rendon has a history of injuries and did not exactly tear up the league in his rookie debut. The Nationals have lost a lot of minor league talent due to Major League promotions and Rendon and Storen could be the right pieces to move to keep the team competitive for the long term. With that being said both could fill current and future holes on the Yankees. Rendon is almost a lock to play at least slightly above average in 2014 if healthy with a ceiling of probably 20 home runs with a high average and good defense in the future. Storen on the other hand has the talent to potentially fill the closer role for the Yankees.
