Former Yankee top pick reemerges in NFL Draft

2

You might remember Brandon Weeden, a righthanded pitcher who was the Yankees' top draft pick in 2002. He was traded to the Dodgers in the Kevin Brown deal and never pitched above high-A. After quitting in '06, he returned to football at Oklahoma State. Now, he's looking at being drafted at age 28. Pretty remarkable.
