After yesterday's ominous speculation about Joba Chamberlain's future, the Yankees got some good news about the right hander today. Additional tests on Chamberlain's surgically repaired right ankle revealed no microfractures, which, believe it or not, means the reliever could be back on a mound this summer. Unfortunately for the Reds, the injury news wasn't as kind. New closer Ryan Madson was diagnosed with a torn ligament in his right elbow and will undergo Tommy John surgery to repair the injury. Upon hearing the news, Phillies GM Ruben Amaro, Jr. probably let out a big sigh of relief.
Turning to lesser sports, Louisville has already punched its ticket to the Final Four. Now, will Syracuse be able to double the Big East's pleasure, or will the Buckeyes be headed to New Orleans?
