Garrett Jones is, in fact, the guy NYY want in any Burnett deal with the Pirates, but PIT not interested in moving Jones. No traction so far.

jones was a guy i picked up in fantasy as a decent fill-in

To see there opinion on the matter, they generally like the idea of getting Burnett, but more than a few of them have lost their damn minds…
saw more than a few comments how the Yankees need to eat even more of Burnetts contract (or all), and then toss in a prospect; not a garbage time prospect but a legit one along the lines of Romine, Phelps, etc.
Now, this guy Jones is a platoon DH at best, no way on earth is that worth anyone from the top 50 list of prospects, let alone guys from the top 20; especially if the Yanks are eating 75% of the cash.

its not so much overrating as trying “to stick it to the yankees” because they think the Yanks are desperate for salary relief rather than just a wanting.
