Really hope the G-Men win

But I have a feeling Brady is out to embarrass them and may do just that.

Any Van Halen fans here?

Anywho

their new album is FANTASTIC! Brings me back to the Van Halen days of 1980. I was truly surprised at how the new music is. I have always been the world’s biggest fan of them and was kinda expecting to be let down. It’s better than expected, by far.

I saw VH on their last tour

Roth moved very well for his age and the band sounded great. My only bitch was that you could hardly hear Roth, the music was way louder than the vocals. Im hoping to go see them again this year but the concert is very close to the due date of my son, so its not looking good.

Should you choose to test my resolve in this matter, you will be facing a finality beyond your comprehension, and you will not be counting days, or months, or years, but milleniums in a place with no doors.

by YankeesJets on Feb 5, 2012 2:36 PM EST up reply actions

I saw them several times back in the day, ‘80 – ’84. Back then, Roth was sometimes so wasted, hearing him didn’t much matter.

Ease the seat back

and tak a listen to the new stuff. It rocks, old style. But no keyboards, just Eddie and the band at its finest. Dave has never sounded better.

I had that exact score predicted somewhere else

In 2008, I was really just hoping we’d stay competitive. It wasn’t until the 2nd half that I believed we had a chance.

This time it truly looks like a tossup, and the expectations that’s created have me nervous. Really it seems like it will be whoever gets the ball last will kick the game-winning FG. Hopefully it’s Big Blue.

I hate the Giants

im a jet fan. I hate how ignorant giant fans are. Half of them dont know who is their starting running back. Being that i love the jets, i know how good the pats are cause they are in the same division. i also think if the pats win, it will put more pressure on the jets to change things up. With that said im rooting for the Patriots to win. 34-28.

by I'mGivingYouARaise on Feb 6, 2012 12:17 AM EST up reply actions

To me, Eli outplayed Brady, but that doesn’t mean that Brady didn’t play pretty well. He missed a few throws, was victimized by a few drops, and didn’t really make any big, game changing plays, but it’s hard to pin that loss on him. For most of the game, he took what the defense was giving him and found the open man via the dink and dunk underneath stuff. He had what, 15 or 16 straight completions?

I’m the last person in the world to defend Tom Brady, but they lost because 1) Eli played great 2) Gronkowski was too injured to be much of a factor 3) the Giants had the better shot at a game winning drive (4 minutes, 1 timeout, down 2 VS. 1 minute, 1 timeout, down 4) 4) the Giants figured out that they needed to double Hernandez instead of Gronkowski at some point in the 3rd quarter.
