New Minor league Crush?

The reason why we really were so upset with the Montero/Pineda trade was because we followed him for years. How many of us just went online to check his stats. Went to a Trenton Thunder game to watch him hit. Every time you seen breaking news about the yankees on the bottom line of espn, you would get scared that he got dealt in a trade. Just like breaking up with an ex girlfriend. It's done and over with. Lets find a new younger chick. Well I think I found my new farmer. I'm going with Mason Williams. I would of went with Manny but he scares me that he only hit the 7th inning like 3 or 4 times last year. Back to Williams. I think he is going to be a great ball player. He's a five tool guy. When you watch his You Tube videos he kind of stands and wiggles the bat that reminds me of Cano. I didn't know to much about him till this year. I think it's really impressive that last year he wasn't ranked at all and now he's 34th. I was just wondering since we don't have Jesus anymore. Who is everyone's new crush in the minors?

The last minor league crush I had was Steve Balboni.

I went to a Pawtucket- Columbus game in Pawtucket to see him. Balboni hit a long home run. Some guy named Mattingly hit two, and threw home on the fly from the right field fence.

Haven’t done a crush since. Banuelos probably hasn’t gone deep into games mostly because the Yankees like to limitc pitchers’ innings in the minors. There’s no point in burning him out or inviting an injury. If Banuelos somehow made the opening day roster and pitched every 5 days, you can be sure he would have an inning limit below 150.

I don't get too attached to prospects

I remember growing up collecting baseball cards and all of my friends including myself would hoard all our “Future Star” cards. Most of those players amounted from nothing to only serviceable players. If I had to pick one, I’m rooting for Dellin Betances because he’s a local kid.
