This post really should be in all caps. I mean really.
I was at the game last night in section 203 and it was all kinds of awesome. I met Michael Kay, Meredith, and Bald Vinny. A trio all Yankee fans would love to say they met. Will I be washing my hand after shaking Kay's hand? Surely! I whipped out a wet nap on the spot!
As for Meredith I was going to take a picture with her, and she agreed until her PR person said no more. Meredith was pretty polite about it. Saying Sorry and thank you for me wanting to take a picture with her. She's hotter than Kim Jones longtimelistener. Sorry.
I got the entire roll call on video, however I don't know if it's cool to post since Bald Vinny and MLB.com have it up on their site. So blah. I'm not a copyright wiz.
As for the game until the 9th the only noise made was for Jeter's triple. The Raul's PH home run for Alex came and we erupted. It was hysteria in the stadium and definitely it 203. We stood up on the bleachers and just mobbed each other. I was hugging some guy I didn't even know. I made the cut on television too. I can see myself jumping and turning to my friend. It's now my twitter picture. Blurry, but I know it's me and that's awesome. Forever locked in Yankees history.
Then the second home run. Wow. I watched it the whole way and I knew it was out. The crowd in 203 was mobbing each other even more. I didn't believe it happened. You ever get that feeling that something happened, but you just don't believe it? Well I had no clue the game was over at that point. I was happily confused.
I get to say I was at the Raul game or the game Alex was PH for. The turning point of a legendary career. I'd like to remember it as the RAUUUUL game though. That's what I wrote down on my ticket that I place in my dresser.
