PrintIt is with bittersweet feelings that I announce that 3460Kuri is leaving Pinstripe Alley due to time constraints. I'd like to stress that we appreciate what Kuri has done, and that we will miss his weekly writing greatly. Kuri will be writing elsewhere, and will gradually leave his role here, due to previously mentioned time restraints.
That being said, Travis and I have recently been discussing the state of Pinstripe Alley. Rather than saying "we are hiring," we decided we will consider possible candidates, if anyone would like to apply. We have specific candidates in mind, and we would also like to see who else applies.
I would like to stress that we are not just going to hire anyone, and that we won't necessarily hire anyone at all. There is no glaring need, we view this as an opportunity to see who is interested in joining the staff, and making the staff stronger if possible.
If you would like to apply, please email me (bco004@yahoo.com) AND Travis (tcg37@yahoo.com) with your resume, why we should pick you, and anything else you believe would convince us! Please include your SB Nation username as well if you have one, though we will consider outside writers.
That brings me to fanposts. As I mentioned in the comments, I read all fanposts, even the short blurbs. Writing fanposts can help fast track you to a staff job, so consider writing more if you are interested!
Please do not apply unless you know you will not have time constraints, and that you will be able to work on our schedule.

As for new writers, WWJD would definitely be #1 on the list, cause like I said this sausage fest of writers needs a side order of Waffles! Jedi would be #2 and combined with Waffles, PSA would have a Force Syrup minor league knowledge base right there. Haha, I’d probably be #3 but I really bring nothing to the table but my own seeing eye analysis, long novelish posts (still working on the Movie Fanpost. Current Word Count: 3152), and comedy relief.

Do you realize that most of us here match every “qualification” you just mentioned? Some of us have a couple degrees (Oh my gosh!). And sorry, but I think being a Yankee fan probably is relevant in this case, especially since you’re a known Rays fan who has shown his bias in the past.
