More Thoughts on the 2012 Rotation
A.J. will (undeservedly) get the last rotation spot, Hughes will be in the pen and Garcia will be the long reliever/spot starter.

I'm sure this is how is will be but...
I’m interested in seeing what Brad Meyers and Cesar Cabral can bring to the MLB team.
I meant, I’m sure this is how IT will be but…

Do you think all three of those guys are gonna be on the team?
It’s a lot of arms and I think some of them aren’t needed. I can see Cashman making a deal for one of them before spring training starts.

Thanks for the memories Jorge
This doesn't surprise me at all.
And truth be told, AJ’s inconsistency as a back-end starter is a lot more tolerable than as a front-end starter. Wasn’t he projected as our #2 starter going into last year?
I know where I come from, and when you always have in mind where you come from the rest will be easy. I think the rest will be easy.

No. Hughes was.

Oh yeah
It’s been only a year and I’ve forgotten that Hughes was supposed to be a front-end starter.

Velocity
Not at 90-91 like he’s been. He doesn’t have the secondary stuff to survive at below premium velocity. His curve is a good pitch, but it isn’t “AL East good”.
He needs to be demoted to the NL.
Most arguments are really about context.

Nova is this year's Hughes. By which I mean the young #2 guy who's only done it once.
(Not the dead arm guy who misses 3 months and is mediocre on his return).
