Would have preferred 2 years while Romine, Sanchez develop

But there are no bad 1-year deals at Martin’s age. He gives us above average offense & defense at the position, and at 28 he is unlikely to decline.

Compare this deal with the Fielder news today, and the org. looks extremely fiscally responsible.
