I'm reading The Trial (for fun) and A Prayer for Owen Meany (for school) now.
I’m enjoying them so far (half way through Trial, about 50 pages left in Owen Meany). Anyone read them?

Yeah, I’m really liking Owen. With 50 pages left, it’s really set up for an awesome ending. My only gripe is that it’s too religious.

The World According to Garp is still my favorite John Irving novel.
It’s another comig of age story but nothing like Owen Meany.
I loved Owen Meany
Hilarious and heartbreaking simultaneously.
The movie (“Simon Birch”) wasn’t too bad, but it only covers about a third of the book (and none of the incest!)
