PrintUnless you're a fan of small signings that probably won't have any bearing on the 2012 season, there's really nothing going on with Major League Baseball right now. Actually, Fausto Carmona isn't actually Fausto Carmona. So there's that.
However, if you're interested in international players, perhaps you've heard of Gerardo Concepcion, an 18-year-old lefty who defected from Cuba, along with Aroldis Chapman, at a tournament last June.
The Yankees are known to be interested in the lefty. In Cuba's main amateur league, Concepcion went 10-3 with a 3.36 ERA in 21 games, including 16 starts. As of right now, that's the best I can do in finding information about him.

This is horrible
It sounds like they unfroze an entire staff of guys from 1945 that have just been dying to make the pampered stars of today pay. I really hope this sort of thing isn’t going on in any other clubs.
I’m also pretty surprised veteran guys would put up with that nonsense.

The QB is a honey badger, really doesn’t give a shit. Alex Smith is really good too, might be a battle of badgers, but me thinks Eli is the High Priest of Honey Badgers. Plus our defense is becoming really good and the NFL doesn’t nearly love to hang from the Niners nuts like they do Green Bay or New Orleans, so it should be an even game.
This isn’t the 2011 Giants. Its the 2008 Giatnts except the passing game’s taken over for the running game. That team was unstoppable, beat everyone in their path until the idiot shot himself and the DTs both wore out. All of that’s not happening and also Hakeem, Cruz and Ham are damn near unstoppable.

Ravens offense sucks.
Patriots defense sucks. You MUST be a complete team in order to beat this Giants team right now, and the only team even coming close to that is the Niners, and I don’t think their offense is up to that task and I don’t think the Giants offense with the rhythm its in is going to be stopped by their defense, as great as it is. Its just impossible in today’s NFL.

Between the refs, being sloppy, and more dudes who had previously been ice cold from 3 suddenly never missing, I was worried too. Barnes was tremendous in the 2nd half. I’m still quite worried about Dex’s knee, but they said he was walking on his own in the locker room afterwards, so hopefully it’s not too bad.
