New York Yankees News From Across SB Nation
SB Nation is awesome. I'd say as a whole the network covered the Michael Pineda-Jesus Montero trade from every angle. Let's take a look:
Beyond the Boxscore provides a graphic look at Jesus Montero vs. Michael Pineda.
Beyond the Boxscore also says that despite moving from pitcher-friendly Safeco Park to hitter friendly Yankee Stadium, Michael Pineda will be fine.
MLB Daily Dish provides the updates of how and when the deal went down.
MLB Daily Dish also has the details of the Hiroki Kuroda signing.
Rob Neyer at Baseball Nation takes a look at William's analysis.
Minor League Ball explains their thoughts about the Pineda/Montero trade. The readers seem to think the Yankees won the deal.
Nomaas's take on the trade is both funny and interesting, so check that out as well!
Finally, MLB Daily Dish complies the reactions from Red Sox fans about the Yankees moves.
Crazy Friday night that will be talked about for a lot, but this seems like the type of deal that will be talked about for decades.

What's really sad about this line...

Is that now, especially on this site, both Montero and Pineda are going to be under the microscope by everyone, especially Pineda. If he doesn’t do well and Montero does do well, the amount of snark on this site during the regular season is going to be overwhelming. If he does very well and Montero doesn’t, it’ll be the same situation.
SO, the best we can hope for is that both players do incredibly well on their new teams. Personally, I’m really hoping that Montero & Noesi help the Mariners take that division because it’ll be interesting competition for the Rangers & a fantastic story all around and fuck the Angels!
