Angels? The Red Sox need a few wins!

The Red Sox September fold has been epic!

I still have a hard time seeing the Rays as making the Playoffs. Too many games against the Yanks. We will want to clinch and then we'll want the AL best record. While the RS have faded the Rays are closest, but the LAA's have crept close enough to be a threat. They are 2 back on the Rays and 3 on the RS in the loss column.

The Angels schedule does not look bad, Toronto, Oakland and Texas. Thet could get into this thing too, specially if Boston and Tanpa play .500 or less ball going forward.

I am rooting for Boston. I want the weakest team possible in the playoffs. The next couple days will clarify a lot of things.

Who would you like to see make the AL wildcard? Why?

I do not care a fig about the Red Sox

I want what’s best for the Yanks!

I care about the Red Nex

I want them to go away. Go Angels or Rays or Scranton Yankees. Anyone.

Where have you gone, Steven Revetria? A bandwagon turns its lonely eyes to you.

Best for the Yankees.

-Win American League East

This means that we will have the best record so once we clinch the East expect a lot of rest. It’s very important to win these games so this tired team can rest up for the ALDS.

Boston is not/will not be the weakest team in the playoffs should they

make it.

But beyond that…what the hell is this?

I didn't mean they're the weakest

I meant they’re hurt and playing worse than Tampa or LA. I think that’s true.

true

but the injuries to their offense are rather minimal and that thing is potent. they get beckett healthy and lester pull himself out of his funk and they are very dangerous. i would much rather see the lighter hitting teams in the post season then them. they were crowned in the winter for a reason and they are very talented. i want no part of them come playoff time.

A couple days ago you didn’t want to see Boston slump because they’d get hot in the playoffs, but now you want them in the playoffs because they are playing badly. Something isn’t making sense.

You are crazy if you think Boston is the weakest team out of those three.

And at any moment they could turn it around and get hot again. Plus, there is word that Buchholz might be ready to go for the playoffs. Do you really want to risk facing them? I’m rooting hard for the Rays, even when they play us for now lol.

While it's possible the Red Sox could get hot again, Bucholtz would only be available to relieve in the playoffs.

Francona has said he simply isn’t stretched out enough to throw more than 30 pitches. We might see him do that against us this weekend. The rest of the team is physically hurting, far more than the Yankees are.

The Angels are the last team I want to see in the playoffs

their pitching is the best in the AL and they just seem to be a pain in the ass for the Yankees. I’d much rather see the Pissants or the Rays in the playoffs.

I’m not really worried about the Angels’ offense, though. Yeah, they have the best 1-3 starters in the AL, but I’d be more worried about Beckett + Lester and the Red Sox offense waking up. They can’t keep losing games forever, they are too good of a team.
