Derek Jeter HBO Special Airs Tonight

"Derek Jeter 3K" will premiere tonight at 9 p.m. on HBO. If you're around and able to watch the show, why not share your opinion here.

Jeter wore a wire that recorded audio during two games, the first time he ever did that. The program will feature new interviews with Hal Steinbrenner, Joe Torre, Reggie "Remember When I Hit Three Home Runs In The World Series" Jackson, and Minka Kelly. They've only had about 20 days to put it all together, so it'll be interesting to see what they've done in such a short timeframe.

The writer of the special gave his thoughts -

It's a great look back at his road toward 3,000, and then also an unprecedented glimpse behind the curtain he's kept up for so long.

It sounds like a quality production, but unfortunately I don't get HBO, so I'll rely on you to recommend it or not.

they do a pretty good job with "Hard Knocks"

And that has a pretty quick turnaround, so I don’t think the 20 days will be a problem.
