Trade Deadline Madlibs
Has anyone thought about a deal for (Player on Another Team who probably won't get traded)? I really think the Yankees could use another (position that we probably don't need another of). I would make an initial offer of (prospect, Read: Jesus Montero). If they don't agree to that, I would be willing to part with (another prospect who still won't get the deal done). Look at (trade target's) stats, especially his (random stat that helps get his/her point across while ignoring other ones that hurt his/her point, Read: ERA). We need another (position) to compete with (team who we probably won't even play against in the playoffs with it being a crap shoot and all). Get it done Cashman!!!

Over under 20 recs? Seriously best idea ever.
Has anyone thought about a deal for Adrian Gonzalez? I really think the Yankees could use another first basemen. I would make an initial offer of Ramiro Pena and Montero. If they don’t agree to that, I would be willing to part with Nunez. Look at Gonzo’s stats, especially his batting average! We need another first basemen! to compete with Red Sox. Get it done Cashman!!!
Has anyone thought about a deal for Testicles? I really think the Yankees could use another Lord Duggan. I would make an initial offer of LA Noire, a half eaten slider from White Castle and the rights to Jesus Montero. If they don’t agree to that, I would be willing to part with Jesus Montero. Look at Testciles’ stats, especially his Saves, holds, ERA, batting average and left to right nut ratio. We need another Binder to compete with the O Rings

Rec’d for damn sure
Should you choose to test my resolve in this matter, you will be facing a finality beyond your comprehension, and you will not be counting days, or months, or years, but milleniums in a place with no doors.

Has anyone thought about a deal for Tony LaRussa? I really think the Yankees could use another manager. I would make an initial offer of Tony Pena. If they don’t agree to that, I would be willing to part with Larry Rothschild. Look at LaRussa’s Binder stats, especially his double-switch RHP-LOOGY-RHP move! We need another manager to compete with the Pirates. Get it done Cashman!!!

It’s time to trade the Stadium’s version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” Get that drunk guy from Wrigley to do it. It will inspire the team to victory, I have no doubts.
Unless you're a pitcher or Gustavo Molina, kindly SWING THE BAT and ignore the Binder's bunt signal.
Perfection.
Wish I could rec it more than once.

I liked it too. The only problem is that it's been superceded by this:
[Former Yankee player we couldn’t wait to see be traded/DFA’d] was released today by the [Mediocre Non- Contenders]. The Mediocre Non- Contenders replaced him with a player drummed out of the [foreign country] League for violating its [animal tranquilizer] abuse policy.
This player was signed today by the Yankees for [a number more than zero] dollars, and added to the roster. He is expected to start in tonight’s game in place of [a player we like].

Dooley Womack
why bother with guys like Adrian Gonzalez, King Felix and the like. How about some REAL Yankees – bring back Dooley Womack, Steve Hamilton, Jim Bouton and Horace Clarke. Hey, Joe Pepitone was always a pretty good fielder at 1B.
Christ all mighty
Not only did you provide them a blueprint to stupidity but they will no doubt mistake this as encouragement.
Congrats to all who have turned PA into the Yahoo comment boards. New it couldn't last forever. Damn idiots had to go and win the World Series. The dude at the 7 eleven keeps saying fat man in undearwear punch my eye.

Are there any real Yankee fans in here?
Really?
The Yankees need pitching agreed, we need a good lefty starter (good luck) Kershaw from the Dogers over Jiminez would be my choice and better option. Why? Cash! Cash! Cash! and we have tons of it and to make it look good we will offer prospects as well. I could also see Either being part ot the trade. If the Yankees cannot swing a top starter we need to get 2 lefty’s for the pen. Remember next season FA market is huge at SS Reyes we cannot let the Red Dick’s get him, I think A-Rod is our big concern the rest of the way does he really have the drive for another ring? In the end the Yankees are going to be hated again in 9-days for stacking the deck. # 28 here we come.

Only real Yankees fans think the organization needs to wave it’s dong at traffic to prove how big it is.

Well.
The Dodgers are giving up Kershaw. And why do we need Either? Our OF is loaded enough. Oh and Alex talk again? Come on. That’s so 2008.

You're from north Jersey, aren't you
So now the guys in the subway are saying Jesus is coming on October 21, 2011, but that would mean he wouldn't be on the playoff roster, let alone be eligible for it. I really don't know where these guys are getting their information from...
Yesterday's NY Times said the Yankees are looking for another starter and they are unhappy with Gardner's production.
If true, that means they want an ace, since they already have Ivan Nova at 8-4 cooling his jets in Wilkes Barre.
If they are really unhappy with Gardner’s production, then they don’t understand what he brings to the table.
by designatedquitter on Jul 25, 2011 11:04 AM EDT reply actions
I doubt the Yankees are unhappy with Gardner's production
if any human seriously wrote that BS I hope they’re sterile. There’s no need to be infecting the Earth with more stupidity on that level.
