Joba Chamberlain Out At Least Three Weeks

NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 03: Joba Chamberlain #62 of the New York Yankees reacts walking back to the dugout in the ninth inning against the Detroit Tigers at Yankee Stadium on April 3, 2011 in the Bronx borough of New York City. (Photo by Nick Laham/Getty Images)

He strained his flexor muscle (in the right elbow) after a 35-pitch outing on Sunday, and he won't even start throwing for 10-14 days. Amaury Sanit will take his roster spot.

Russell Martin's back "locked up," so Frankie will catch tonight.

- Mark Teixeira is in the lineup.

- Eric Chavez was placed on the 60-day DL. Well, that didn't take long.

Hector Noesi was sent down to Scranton to make room for Jeffrey Marquez (when did he come back?) on the 25-man roster. Update: So Marquez was claimed off waivers from the White Sox today. FYI, Marquez was part of the package that was sent to Chicago for Nick Swisher.
