Yankees at Angels Preview
Yankees look to end their road trip with a win, which would also give them the series win.
Yankees Lineup:
Jeter SS, Granderson CF, Teixeira 1B, Rodriguez 3B, Cano 2B, Swisher RF, Posada DH, Gardner LF, Cervelli C.
Anyone have any predictions?

Posada still in the lineup I see
A-Rod has never hit Pineiro well in the past- hope that changes a little bit today. If he could go on one of his HR streaks, now is a good time (with BOS coming in).

Posada has been hitting the ball hard from what I’ve seen lately. Just bad placement.

Russell was great, but top 5? Come on. He was nothing special on offense, at all. It’s no great thing to win all of those championships when your teammates are the all-NBA second team.
In no order…
Michael Jordan
Wilt Chamberlain
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Shaquille O’Neal

Karl Malone
Hakeem Olajuwon
Larry Bird
Magic Johnson

Malone, Shaq, Robinson?
ahead of Russell? Russell was a dominant defensive force and could take over games. He was a better player than Wilt, head to head. And comparing Wilt to Russell, he won one title on his own and one with Jerry West. How is Jerry West not on that list? And Robinson ahead of Mikan?
Lance Pendleton's biggest fan.
Are you saying these guys cannot put up a case vs. Russell?
They were flat out better. Russell is not Wit. Wilt is on another level offensively. Russell can be a top 10 defensive player, but Shaq would probably tear Russell up if they both played in either era.

Nah
Every report says that he’s really bored in AAA right now. He’s always been more of a second half hitter anyways, and like Duggan said he’s hit quite a few doubles that may have been home runs in later months.
And remember, he worked far more on his catching during the offseason and into spring training this year than he did on working on his swing, so maybe taking less swings this year up to this point has gotten him off to a slow start power-wise.
Montero’s offense isn’t something to worry about. I’m more worried that the Yankees FO is stupid enough to keep him in the minor leagues when Martin is playing hurt and Posada can’t hit.

Yes, Macbooks have built-in cameras.
I love mine and it’s been a great investment, totally worth the extra cost. Just be sure to get Apple Care and you are set for everything that could happen on their end for 3 years.

Yep, exactly.
Except it also includes free phone support for that length of time as well, which is great if you have a quick question. My logic board fried on my first Macbook after 2 years and I didn’t get Apple Care on it. If I had, it would have been fixed for free. As it was, it would have been the cost of a new computer to fix it, so I just got another one with Apple Care.

Sounds like a good plan. If I do get a mac, I’ll get that. Built in camera, is that only to chat with other Mac owners?

I've never had any problems other than that.
If I hadn’t tried to be cheap the first time, it would have been fixed for free, so I can’t really complain.

personal advice?
go to dell outlet and get a beast that is refurbished with an Intel processor. then buy a $500 mac license (unlimited uses) and convert it to a mac. you get a better machine as far as raw stats AND the mac OS, for about the same price

I'm watching the Dodgers at the Reds right now, but I was thinking of switching over to that.
For now, I want to see what happens here. I have a feeling there is more offense in store.

Before I say anything, I must say I despise the Boston Red Sox and Jonathan Papelbon.
That being said, Tony Randazzo is more at fault than Papelbon for what happened in the 9th inning of the Red Sox A’s game yesterday. An umpires job is to try to avoid confrontations between anyone on the field, not start them.
Umpires used to just call the games, now they’re just blind “show-boaters” for lack of a better term. I don’t even think show boaters is the right term at all, anyone care to help?

you say truth
Papelbon should have controlled his anger, yes. but he looked surprised to see Randazzo staring out at him behind Salty. Almost understandable.

Watch the whole inning and not just the clip of the blow up. Papelbon/Varitek/Francona where yelling and whining on every (correctly called) ball six inches off the plate.

Even if so, I think an umpires job is to just eject the guy. I’d much rather see Randazzo just eject him than start arguing with him. Papelbon is a jerk and all, but that’s not what an umpire is supposed to do.

Papelbon was like huffing and staring up at the sky after the pitch was called a strike.
He had already gotten a major attitude when he was thrown out.
