The Waiting Room
There will be Yankee baseball at some point tonight (allegedly), with CC Sabathia taking on Ervin Santana. The only game currently going on is the Red Sox and A's, with the Sox up 7-3 in the 9th Sox up 7-5, and Jonathan Papelbon looking shakier and shakier. Might want to tune in to that one.
[Edit: 7-7 now. Papelbon and Varitek have both been ejected.]
For those of you who can not wait for 9 PM to satisfy your baseball addiction, here's some earlier games that I've got my eye on:
Texas Rangers at Cleveland Indians (7:05) - Derek Holland vs. Fausto Carmona.
Milwaukee Brewers at Florida Marlins (7:10) - Yovani Gallardo vs. Chris Volstad.
Detroit Tigers at Chicago White Sox (7:10) - Justin Verlander vs. Edwin Jackson.
I'll be around later with a game preview for tonight and a game thread. Until then, there's plenty going on at Pinstripe Alley and around SBN, as we endure the endless wait to 9 PM.

What happened? I’ve been gone all weekend and didn’t even get to watch a single pitch of the game last night. Sigh.

How could this possibly happen...
…when Varitek calls such a good game and Papelbon is a greater closer than Mariano Rivera???
Does not compute—does not compute…

Gotta love some Pap Smear fail
hope a suspension goes with that ejection

Oh, and by the way: Shut the hell up, Paps/Varitek:
You got squeezed on a grand total of one pitch.

According to MLB at Bat
the last pitch he threw before getting ejected was a called strike. I wonder how accurate that is. Why would they argue after a strike called in their favor?
Oh wait…it’s Papelbon. ’Nuff said.

I was watching, and it was a called strike. Papelbon yelled something like “finally!” to which the ump yelled something back and then Papelbon went apeshit.

Depends on the price.
For movies and PS3, Sony
For anything else, Panasonic
Hope this helps.

I have a Panasonic, and I love it.
But Sony is definitely one the top 3 best in TVs.
"Our problem right now is we have too many pitchers on the 15-day Pavano. That's what it's officially called now. Did you know that? The Pavano. His body just shuts down from actually pitching for 6 weeks. It's like when you get an organ transplant and your body rejects it. His body rejected pitching. It's not used to it." - Mike Mussina

It’s cap day and those are some FUGLY hats the Mets gave away. My 86 yo father-in-law who’s been a Mets fans since the team’s inception said " The trash cans will be full of those hats"
