Indeed.
Unless you're a pitcher or Gustavo Molina, kindly SWING THE BAT and ignore the Binder's bunt signal.
Yes.
It's like being a huge fan of winning, which we do, relentlessly.

I don’t know how to react to this post.

Apparently one of the admins did
The proper response WAS to front page it.

I say we do it every day.

Show up at the stadium tomorrow
And when it’s Cervelli’s first time at the plate walk up there with a bat and be like “Cervelli, I’m really happy for you, but I need to take this at-bat because you are one of the worst players of all time!”

Call him up so we can get this over with
Succeed or fail – I’d just as soon get beyond this conversation. He’s become PA’s Weiner (Literally – or figuratively? Hhmmmmmm….)
As a teacher I appreciate the fact that he still had indentations when starting a new paragraph. Top Notch

Maybe you should make a Duck Sauce video about Montero
The idiot formerly known as pkyankeefan! Now in Technicolour!
Shall we front page this EVERY day at noon until the Yankees call up Montero?

Who is this post about again?
Maybe John Flaherty could un- retire? Cervelli is not worse than Gustavo Molina. He is worse than every other living Molina, though, including Alfred.

We just want to see him get a chance.

well
He might struggle. Not ever player rakes right away when they get to the majors. But the only way he’s going to learn and become a great major league hitter he’s capable of being is if he gets the opportunity.
Will he be a great major league player? Maybe, maybe not. But we’ll never know until we give him that chance. And his chance is right here, with Martin not being able to move and the majority of Cervelli’s throws being fielded by Curtis Granderson.
CALL UP JESUS MONTERO!
I hope he's not like Weiters.
But unlike Weiters Montero is pretty much all offense.
"I'm coming after whoever who has it."
Him struggling will still be better than Cervelli on fire or Martin with an injured back.
So now the guys in the subway are saying Jesus is coming on October 21, 2011, but that would mean he wouldn't be on the playoff roster, let alone be eligible for it. I really don't know where these guys are getting their information from...
even starting him off as a DH makes sense
very frustrating for sure. When was the last time the Yanks had a seriously solid everyday DH without drama or injury issues? When Bernie left CF? Chili Davis in ’98? It really seems like forever to me.

Matsui in 2009.

thanks for answering the question
because I honestly totally forgot about that season…although he did have his share of injury issues.
