catchers seem to hit their former pitchers well, even catchers, like Victor Martinez, who are bad at their position know what to look for

I realize a box score won't tell one everything

Ichiro is donating $1.25 million to the Japanese Red Cross

The M’s are asking fans and front office personnel to donate, will be collecting money during their first home stand and matching whatever they collect with a minimum donation fo $100,000. Also Nintendo who owns them (had noo clue!) is donating $3.7 million.
