Spring Training Games No. 14 & 15: Yankees vs. Braves and Blue Jays
A split-squad doubleheader today with both games at the same time. The Yankees will host the Braves and also travel to Dunedin to take on the Blue Jays.
Phil Hughes starts in the home game against Tommy Hanson, which will be broadcast on YES.
The road game will feature Ivan Nova against Kyle Drabek.
Both games start at 1 p.m.

This team cant hit . They lost both games today getting 6 hits in each game. I dont care that it’s spring game to me it shows that nobady is showcasing them selfs for now or for the future. I dont think our pitching is as good as it was last year so we have to hit better this year , and I dint think we are going to. I think we are in big trouble this year. No play offs for the Yankees this year IMO.
These games don’t count… Why would guys like Arod or Jeter bust their asses in Spring? Don’t worry about the offense, we will finish first or second in the league in runs scored. How good we are will come down to the starting pitching.
February 14th, pitchers, catchers, and Messiahs report to Spring Training.
