Jeter 3000th?

So I made my final payment for my season tickets today and now is the time for me to sit down and decide which games I will attend this season.

I would really like to see Derek hit 3000.. We all know he will break that milestone this season since he is sitting on 2926... Which leaves only 74 hits left..

My guess is it will take around 75-90 games... Sometime late June to beginning to mid July.. I really hope he hits 3000 in Yankee Stadium but there is a good chance he may get that 3000th hit in Citi Field against the Mets... I'm definitly buying tickets for that entire subway series just incase..

When do you think Derek will get that 3000th hit?

No shot it takes 90 games.

if it takes 90 games for Jeter to get 74 hits, we’ll be in a lot of trouble.

I think early-mid June is a good estimate as for when this will happen, unless he just absolutely rakes to start the season and puts up a 35 or 40 hit month. Might even be able to see it in late May in that scenario

If he's going well, 55-60 games, poorly- 70 games.

There is always the possibility he will get it on the road- I doubt he would sit out more than one game to do it at home. Probably wouldn’t sit out any games voluntarily.
