Yankees baseball perhaps.
But hockey between two teams that I don’t have a rooting interest in>baseball between two teams I don’t have a rooting interest in.
Though I am going to my first non Islanders/Rangers/Devils home hockey game in January. Been to a lot of baseball, but never hockey.
Canucks at Panthers. Sounds like a blast….right? Right?

It actually does.
Whereas I couldn’t even pretend to be interested in a Reds-Nationals game or something like that.
I think I can really be interested in Reds, Nationals, but I think I would be more interested in the Canucks-Panthers game.

It is a nice stadium, though it reminds me a bit of a AAA park somehow

It sounds that way
But what I mean is that they’ve really stunk the two times I’ve gotten to watch them this season. I mean, the last game, Miller got pulled about halfway through the first period because he let three pucks in, and Kaleta managed to pick up a four-game suspension with a head butt. Mind you, I’ve wanted to head butt various Flyers myself…

I’m surprised. It’s all over out here. I really like it.
Now, the Berghoff is probably not available around you. But then, I’d say it’s good but not worth searching high and low to find.
This is my go to place. Good deals on local micros on tap and you can buy individual bottles to make your own packs.
Doesn’t look like they have either of those though.

Looks excellent
My own favorite place is Binny’s Beverage Depot. Don’t judge them based on their terrible-looking website, though. The store is large, but since it sells beer, wine, and liquor, they don’t have as good of a beer selection as I’d prefer. Your place would be right up my alley. The vast array of wines available at Binny’s is largely wasted on a beer drinker such as myself, though I do enjoy some liquor as well.
That’s cool that you can one-stop shop like that. Here you can’t buy liquor in beer stores and vice versa for liquor stores.

You also can in Texas. Last time I was in Rochester, I’d forgotten this was not the case in NY.
