Yankees Resolutions
It's 2011! Happy new year everyone, hopefully it is even better than your 2010! The Yankees hope to improve on their 2010 as well, and here are resolutions for each player on the Yankees depth chart.
-Russell Martin's resolution is to make Pinstripe Alley forget the name Jesus Montero until the Yankees are ready to start him. Good luck with that!
-Francisco Cervelli doesn't need a resolution. A resolution needs him.
-Jorge Posada's resolution is to prove that he is still a reliable player, rather than a liability.
-Mark Teixeira's resolution is to start the season off well, and maybe stop moving in weird positions while waiting for a play to start.
-Nick Swisher's resolution is to get even crazier and reach 30 home runs.
-Robinson Cano's resolution is to win the MVP, and/or destroy Josh Hamilton.
-Ramiro Pena's resolution is to hide himself from Brian Cashman at all times except during games, as he cannot be removed from the roster this way.
-Eduardo Nunez' resolution is to continue playing well enough that people actually think he can take over for Derek Jeter eventually. (He cannot)
-Derek Jeter's resolution is to bring all of his stats up and to shut the haters up as well.
-Alex Rodriguez' resolution is to stop letting people take pictures of him grabbing Jeter's butt and have another 30+ HR season.
-Brett Gardner's resolution is to prove McDaniel right to the point that we rename the site McDaniel's Alley.
-Colin Curtis' resolution is to be known for more than being White CC.
-Curtis Granderson's resolution is to play like he did in the postseason the whole season.
-Greg Golson's resolution is to give his arm to the Hall of Fame, grow a new one, and throw out Carl Crawford of the Red Sox at third base in a September classic.
-Kevin Russo's resolution is to regain some of his prospect status.
-CC Sabathia's resolution is to continue to be the hamburger eating workhorse he has been for the Yankees.
-A.J. Burnett's resolution is to not be A.J. Burnett from 2010. That means no black eyes, A.J.!
-Phil Hughes' resolution is to be an ace.
-Ivan Nova's resolution is to become a reliable member of the Yankees pitching staff.
-Sergio Mitre's resolution is to not be a member of the Yankees starting rotation.
-Andrew Brackman's resolution is to find a way to dunk during a game of baseball.
-Romulo Sanchez' resolution is to find a person other than Barndon that actually knew he pitched for the Yankees in 2010.
-Boone Logan's resolution is to prove that 2010 wasn't a fluke and he can be a reliable pitcher for the future.
-David Robertson's resolution is to have a full outstanding season as a set-up man, rather than pulling a pitchers version of Mark Teixeira.
-Damaso Marte's resolution is to rehab. Maybe he can also get his teammates some gatorade during games.
-Joba Chamberlain's resolution is to just pitch well. While it probably should be as a starter, that isn't happening, so he should just pitch well as a reliever.
-Mariano Rivera's resolution is to prove that he is not human by not aging another season.

Girardi's Binder's Resolution is world domination.
Yes, well when I see five weirdo's dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of a hundred people, I shoot the bastards, that's my policy.
reality check
Yankees need to find an ace dominating pitcher plus one more for good measure—-failure to do so means—-=== DEFEAT———-can not COMPETE………..?????
We have an ace.
He’s pretty large. Can’t really miss him.
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.
