Here's the breakdown on scoring
If you hit a ball into the outfield (or the infield), you run between the two wickets. The number of times you cross is how many runs you get for it. So batter A hits the ball, runs to the other wicket and back, and gets two runs.
If you hit the ball out of the outfield directly, it’s 6 runs. If it bounces before crossing, that four.
Those are the basic scoring plays.

I had school break in 2000, and used to stay up all night. So I’d be up when the games started. Started following baseball because the ALCS (I think?) was on. It wasn’t hard to root for the Yankees.
I’ve been following ever since, even though TV (ESPN Asia) usually shows very little baseball. They do show the playoffs, though.

The economics of the Premier League are even worse than baseball
The richest teams can buy WHOEVER they want, whenever they want. The ones who stay, like Shearer, are really just exceptions. I’m getting tired of it, frankly. I’m kind of glad United can’t buy anyone they like anymore. There are huge rewards for scouting, as Arsene Wenger’s shown.

well I just started at age 18
and spent most of the time increasing the power vs RHP category. And once you get it high enough and you play every day, skill points really add up. And then you just rank him at 99 on everything and he hits like 55 home runs a year with MVPs.
