Just a lil somethin' to motivate you before 7:05 p.m EST...

Dear Allan James,

It's gotten weird again, dear chum. Things have gotten weird. We went down this long, dark, and gloomy

pathway at times last season, with hopes of never turning back. But you sir, have managed to foolishly

preset your Tom Tom GPS to the same destination. Everyone likes to reach goals. Not sure the following

should be considered checkmarks in the good ol' positive column. You, oh pie wielding one have:

1. Attracted boo birds at every home start.
2. Attempted to take the team out of the game in virtually every appearance.
3. Made Pinstripe Alley and Yankee fans alike split your personalities (see Good AJ vs Bad AJ)
4. Come under the notion that when you give up runs, they go to your own team.
5. Attempted to make your WHIP higher than your ERA.

You see AJ, without immediate correction of the aformentioned issues,results can and will lead to immediate

facebook friend deletion,continuous ribbing, infamy, and completion of the feces pie prepared and stored for

you in 2009. AJ, you are supposed to be a top of the rotation starter. Its time you act like it! But right now, we

don't see it. We need to see it....NOW!!! Starting tonight. Get it together, fly right, and get it in gear. You hear

those footsteps? Yea. That's Tampa. We would prefer distance please.You've had 5 months to get this right.

You can no longer pin this on an absent Dave Eiland. Last time I checked, he offered Cash and Girardi to

personally fill your rotation spot. S*** is real AJ. S*** is real. Let's do this No more bull.

I love these type of posts. You should write them (and visit PSA) more often. Maybe you can write a “Dear Derek Jeter” one next. .

I got a good feeling about Burnett tonight. He’ll get it together. Believe it or not, this is the first time I’m going to see him pitch in over a month (other than highlights and Yankees Encore) due to an unfortunate series of events outside of my personal control (except his last start when I went to a movie). I think he’ll get it together tonight. Go A.J.- the Yankees NEED you to come up big. Can’t repeat without you. Get it together.

Funny thing about AJ

Everybody wants to kill this guy as a bad signing but compare him with the other guys in his price range. Would you rather have AJ or Lackey? I’ll take AJ. Would you rather have AJ or Zambrano?
