deserves most of the blame for that inning. Once he struck out I saw where Francona was headed. Jeter, as much as I hate to criticize, is so overmatched by hard throwers now that it’s incredible. It’s bad enough that Bard is throwing 99, but he’s painting the black. What the fuck can you do?

Or i need to go on? or is there no need to go overboard?

where we showed this year he has been making good contact but they aren’t find holes. Also Cano until last year was pretty bad at reading pitches

Grandy had had some good at bats vs lester early
AKA deep fly out and a line drive…so he wasn;t gonna pinch hit…even with the K the yanks had opportunities and didn;t capitalize. Girardi isn’t going to give up on a guy when the year isn;t even over yet.
