AJ Sucks Again
I am a die hard Yankee fan. I have not seen a pitcher that has started out so good and ends so bad. AJ B needs to go. You might think " oh give him one more start. Why? so we can lose again. Put Vazquez back in and put AJ to AAA. He has absolutely no HEART. He has shown no remorse for his horrible pitching. BYE BYE AJ YOU SUCK. I hope you do well in AAA and realize this is business not a playground. Buck up young blood this is New York not Kansas.

I just spit soda all over my screen.
There’s things that you DFA
And things that you won’t
There’s Mo’s that you can trust
And Putz’s that you don’t

Perhaps he should take his talents back to South Beach

No heart?
Well i think that certainly warrants at least a 60-day DL stint. Montero here we come!

AJ is what he is, he got beat up by a team that might be in the playoffs, So What!
Maybe AJ and Javy need to ask Nova for one of his “Vitamin B” shots. I would still rather see these guys struggle a bit now instead of during the playoffs. I think the Yanks and AJ will be just fine.

oh my God its the end of the Yankees... oh no..
Didn’t we go through this when Joba was sucking and blowing up in the 1st inning last year and everyone was saying the same thing.. relax on this BS.. Yanks will make the playoffs and this is the guys we have Andy, Hughes, CC, Javy/AJ/ Nova/moseley.. What we should be talking about is Girardi leaving AJ too long while the game gets out of reach.. Third inning after that second wild pitch i knew Bad AJ was on the mound. He should have been out of the game by that start of 4th inning. While watching a comeback is fun, the team pretty much gives up once bad AJ is on the mound. Is the coaches job to keep the game within reach and while there is still lot of games left, there is two other teams behind in the standings we simply cannot afford to throw games away. I am not in any way saying fire Girardi but what i am saying this loss partly should be blame on Girardi.
You can’t send a major league player to the minor leagues. He would have to accept a minor league assignment. He might also have to pass through waivers (I don’t remember).
"Have faith in the Yankees, my son. Think of the great DiMaggio."
I also doubt a "minor league stint" would do anything
What if he had a bad start in the minors? DFA? We just have to wait it out…

A.J. Forshits
This choke artist needs to be demoted to the fifth starter or perhaps even the bullpen. The only thing he can do well is shove shaving cream in someone’s face. Burnitz, Vazquez, Ramiro Pena and someone actually thinks the Yanks are going to win another title? Forget it.

Would someone please tell this poster, DehydratedYankee, that just when you think Burnett will never record another out that he will tease you with a 2 hit shutout.
by designatedquitter on Aug 31, 2010 9:17 AM EDT reply actions
What he fails to realize
Is that being a “die-hard yankee” means sticking by your team and players no matter what. Yet he throws A.J. under the bus. We’re all frustrated, but he’s got the stuff to be amazing.

As you point out, no 'die hard' fan would throw one his starting pitchers under any kind of moving motor vehicle, this one's compressed screen name could only mean dehydrated.
He should drink at least 8 ounces of water every couple of hours and wait for the 2 hit shutout.

Did we ever take down "Teh Putz" posts?
It’s always fun to reflect on these and how idiotic they are!

Especially considering how AJ was the very next start.
That was a hilariously good timing.
