Mariners 6, Yankees 0

Mood Music - Let Me Take You Home Tonight by Boston

Really, really, tired of seeing King Felix.  He dominated the Yankees lineup (again) and Bad A.J. showed up in time for the game to be put away after 3 batters.  Hopefully things go a lot better for the rest of this series.

Play Of The Game: Branyan's 3 run home run in the first inning.

Comment Of The Game: pastor2b for alerting us to the fact that GGBG can, in fact, steal first base.

Tomorrow, the Yankees will try to stop the bleeding with Javier Vazquez on the hill.  I, for one, expect magnificence.

when I was watching the highlights I thought yikes good game to miss. The game didn’t seem easy to watch as a Yanees fan.

Was at Ye Olde Stadium today

Hard game to swalow, but in the end, I’m happy I went. Who can complain about going to a game? Would it be any different on TV?

On the plus I got the tiny Yankees Ford Fiesta. W00T.

1-1 at YS now.

I wish I had your luck lol, I've been to 3 games

1 @ Nationals Park: 1-0 KC over WAS
2 @ Yankee Stadium: 11-5 NYY over DET & 6-0 SEA over NYY

2 shutouts in 3 games, sigh, oh well, it was still fun

like C in RTTS. Its too bad EA cant get back into the fray with its MVP series.

2k10 def stepped its game up from 2k9

but it’s still not at the show’s level. While the show hasn’t changed too much it’s still ahead of 2k10. i would just like the show to have better commentators…

by lololol on Aug 21, 2010 1:35 AM EDT up reply actions

Careful what you wish for..

We could get stuck with McCarver/Buck, Chip Caray or Hawk Harrelson. I do agree that the commentators get repetitive and annoying though.

Alright, question for you guys

Is it OK to boo your own team?

I was at the stadium today and Burnett really was showered with boos today…I didn’t take part in it. What’s the point? It won’t undo the 3 run homer.

he gave em 7 innings

so while its a lot of runs, they didn’t kill the pen. If he let up 1R, they Yanks loose too.

For all intents..I think AJ’s “back”.

yeah, I attempted to explain this to my relatives who were there that didn't really understand, lol

“Well, it was relatively bad pitching, but he gave them 7 inning and didn’t screw the bullpen over for the next game, so really at least he gave them length”
