odd (if true)
According to Buster Olney, the Astros are going to be paying off a lot of Berkman’s contract, and won’t be getting major prospects in return. What are the Astros getting out of this? There are rumors that Berkman wants to go back to Houston next year, so maybe they’re just trying to keep him happy and expect to get him back at a lower price next year. Still, got to wonder what Houston’s getting from this if not money or prospects.

My parents were shocked the first time they went to Citi Field the first time.
Mets had a 7-5 lead in the 9th, then K-Rod blew it in the 9th, then the Mets gave up 5 in the 10th.

I disagree
Jackson has struggled almost every year in the majors and has been in majors what, 5-6 years now? The Nationals could have gotten more if they didn’t try to drive the price insanely high by getting teams to compete. Now that the Yankees got Berkman they’re in a tough position
