His fastball reached 96 in the early frames, and he was still clocking in at 94 in the seventh (after 100 pitches). He allowed one run on six hits in seven frames with five K's and no walks. (Love the no walks.) His curveball looked incredible tonight.
Mark Teixeira went 2-4 and both hits landed over the wall. He has four homers in his last five games, bringing his total to a team-leading 17 (one ahead of Cano).
Derek Jeter looks lost: 0-5 and six for his last 45 (.133).
Seven straight wins is a season high and 11 wins from three starters is the most before the All-Star Break since the 1999 Astros.
What might get overlooked is Jose Lopez' error in the sixth on a Jeter grounder. What could've been a (double-play and) two out, none on situation turned into a no out, first and second situation. The Yankees scored four times after the error and essentially put the game away.
Play of the Game: Don't-cha-know's two-run triple in the sixth (+12.9%).

- This got lost in the shuffle today. Chad Tracy, released by the Cubs a few days ago, was signed to a minor league deal. He's a corner-infielder who had some nice seasons with the D-Backs a few years ago.

He’s pitched 101 innings now in 86 games. So my guess is he’s going to have to miss several more starts. How they go about doing that… I guess we’re about to see over the next two months.

and i for one and happy we let Cliff Lee get rented by another team for the rest of this season. Lets wait and see what Pettitte decides in the offseason then make that move, when we NEED to make it. Cash needs to focus on the bullpen and bench and the fact he let discussions get that far (and reach ratings whore ESPN) is troubling.

we can just wait until the offseasonto acquire him. Texas won’t make the playoffs anyway, so its a win win for us. If we trade for him what does our postseason rotation look like? I like Shrek & Dreamworks movies too.
The problem is that a lot of them are dated, using jokes that make sense at the time, but when you watch them 10 years later, just don’t seem as funnny.

Dreamworks had to make Shark Tale. That’s kind of where they pissed me off.

The Incredible is my favorite cause I'm a huge superhero fan.
Wall-E is a masterpiece of a movie. I can’t describe it other than Masterpiece. I felt it should’ve won the Oscar that year.

Up was also great.
But WALL-E is one of the greatest films I’ve ever seen. It’s funny, cause The Dark Knight was my favorite movie of that year, due to my love of Batman & The Joker.

I remember seeing the first one and it was bad ass
And then I saw the next one was going to be Glover. I thought Jesse the Body, the big guy from 48HRs and Apollo Creed got wooped but Danny Glover can hold his own?

Routh wasnt a terrible choice as SM, Spacey wasnt a bad LL either, I think Bill Murray couldve done that part even better though. He is very underrated.
