Introducing SB Nation New York!

Today is a tremendous, ground-breaking day here at SB Nation. The network has launched the first six of 20 regional hub sites. SB Nation New York is among that virgin group, and yours truly is thrilled to be the Regional Editor for this incredible new venture.

Check it out. Up-to-date news and features about all of your favorite sports teams from a staff of terrific writers. You will recognize many of those names from other SB Nation team sites you -- hopefully -- frequent.

Expanded team pages, which are now under the SB Nation New York umbrella. These will include more news from around the Inter-Google, and features from SB Nation New York staff.

Write a great 'FanPost' and you might even find it featured in the 'FanPosts' section of SB Nation New York.

Much of what you find there is intended not only to keep you abreast of the news, but to make sure you don't miss anything on any of SB Nation's awesome team blogs. So, stop by and give it a look.

By the way, check out this piece in the New York Times about the launch.

NOTE: Also, RSVP for the SB Nation Meet-Up in New York City Wednesday night.

Once a Sports Editor

Always a Sports Editor. It’s how I started my writing career, and it seems I have circled right back to it. And I love it!

Excuse me...?
Write a great ‘FanPost’ and you might even find it featured in the ‘FanPosts’ section of SB Nation New York.

I wrote a GREAT fanpost. One poster here called it

best thing he’s ever read. Genius!

The New York Times said of my fanpost:

Once again YankeeIntel shows the clique over at PInstripe Alley what crisp, insightful sportswriting is all about! We praise him and Bill and Hillary Clinton to the heavens!

The New York Post said:

We never agree with the communists at the NY Times but we agree that YankeeIntel is the sharpest, most witty writer you’ll find at Pinstripe Alley!

The New Jersey Star Ledger said:

No one actually reads our paper but if they did they’d agree with the Times and the Post and proclaim YankeeIntel as the true genius of the Pinstripe Alley community!

USA Today said of YankeeIntel:

His fanpost is genius, pure and simple and his Tex commentary is so incredible it is worthy of its own USA Today piechart! All hail YankeeIntel!

I don’t want to brag or anything but seriously – my keyboard is worth more to the proceedings here than Tex’s bat is to the Yankee lineup… When I’m not hitting on all cylinders I can’t simply say “Oh that’s cool – I’ll help this community with my glove!” Nope! I gotta bring it! EVERY DAMN DAY!

Good stuff.

The Bill and Hillary bit made me laugh.

I love the lack of links to back up the claims. That’s very ESPN of you- clearly you’re marked for the big time. :D

Well

knock yourself out, and good for you, but aren’t you just a “bit” over the top with the endless
crucification of Tex? Hey I want the guy moved down in the order too but…and with that said, my own personal pet peeve, is when you ask somebody on PA to NOT reply to your comments,
because that is what individually someone would prefer, and they do it anyways, well that’s
a very sad commentary!
