Around SBN: How The Kings Beat The Coyotes: Lather, Rinse, Repeat

He's done great his past few starts. This is just the beginning; he won't contend for the Cy Young, but like I said earlier, there is nothing to worry about with Javy.

Its great to go and look back at those who dismissed Javy then and there.

They probably still don’t give him credit.

This guy’s been thus far the Yanks 3rd most consistent starter with Hughes and Pettitte.

IF he didn’t completely implode in all those early outings, this guy is on the all star team if at the very least limits the damage in some of those games.

Yep, he’s gonna be fine for the rest of the year. And, if he does break down, the Yankees have four other great starters.

Bradshaw...

I haven’t a clue if you did cause I didn’t join until about two weeks ago.. but did you hound Javy at all? Half the time you talk on threads I can’t tell if you’re serious or joking lol.

Javier Vazquez owes me because I stuck up for his ass for a good month. My friends would pound him and “wuff” like dogs whenever he came out to pitch and I’d tell them he would eventually come around. Of course, I had no idea if he actually would or not.. but I wanted to believe in him. His NL stuff was too good to be bad over here in the big leagues.

I’m happy things have worked out thus far for the man and I completely agree with Bradshaw that if not for 2 or 3 bad starts, he’d be in the ASG

never did I bash Javy seriously

I always thought it was an excellent trade. Melky is an average player, Mike Dunn can’t find the plate, ever..and Arodys Vizcaino was a top 4 prospect, but is only 18 so kinda who cares..

Javy is a rock. He’ll get 200IP and 200Ks. Those pitchers don’t grow on trees. The guy struggled out of the game, but right now…he’s exactly the same pitcher he was for the Braves.

He’s practically an ace. I’d rather have him on this team long term the AJ Burnett.

KEEP LEE!!!
