Milton Bradley is an idiot

Just read that he wasnt removed last night, he told his manager " Im packing my stuff, Im out of here"

by YankeesJets on May 5, 2010 1:51 PM EDT reply actions

this

A source tells Mike Salk of 710 ESPN in Seattle that Milton Bradley left the team in the middle of Tuesday’s game against the Rays.
Bradley was frustrated after striking out looking with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning. He yelled at the umpire from the bench until Mariners manager Don Wakamatsu warned him to settle down. Just minutes later Bradley reportedly told Wakamatsu, “I’m packing my stuff. I’m out of here.” Mariners General Manager Jack Zduriencik didn’t address the matter specifically on Wednesday, other than to say something that happens between the manager and his players should be handled internally. We’re guessing that Wakamatsu might not have to worry about Bradley much longe

Javy is a good pitcher who is struggling right now. So is DRob.

I’m all for doing whatever we have to do to figure both of their issues out, because I know both of them are better than how they are pitching right now.

robertson was adequate pretty much the whole season

relievers slump, too, I’d give them both the benefit of the doubt. But just as I support the decision to skip Javy on Friday for his sake and the teams sake, I’d support staying away from K-Rob unless the game’s in hand until he figures it out

What happened to Robinson

THe guy showed up for a couple series last october, but he’s lost it. It was good timing last season though.

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.

Is Mo really so incapacitated that they can’t bring him to finish off the last batter? Go-ahead run is now at the plate!

The ending of

today’s game nearly gave me a heart attack, also I get the feeling something is wrong with David Robertson. It would appear from the pitch pattern that he can’t get his curveball over for strikes. Whatever was the case last year about him hiding the ball well and how it gets on you quiackly clearly is not the case this year. I saw Logan hit 98 on the radar gun. Too bad he walked two guys and could not throw a slider for a strike. It looked like the home runs Roberstson gave up were on pitches down the middle, or worse down and in, and that just speeds up the hitter’s bat. Then again, you don’t want to walk people with a big lead. What a luxury Mo is.
