PROPOSED TRADE

This just in for ESPN and MLB.com,  GOD has just offered the New York Yankees his only begotten son Jesus Christos, the keys to the pearly gates, and the soul of Babe Ruth for Francisco Cervelli.  Peter Gammons is reporting that Brian Cashman said that he would only make the trade if hell froze over, but current reports show that Satan wants no part in a three way deal. Looks like Cervelli is a Yank for life!

I think

These Francisco Cervelli jokes in every single thread are old. Am I the only one who does not find them funny, but rather obnoxious? The jokes were funny when he first came up, but now? not so much.

It's either this

or we go back to arguing who should be the 5th starter…

Aww man

You kinda screwed up the joke. But who would Satan be giving up in a 3-way deal?

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.

A for effort

C- for results. Cervelli jokes are really getting old.

Neither does he get C- results.

Be it anything, even taking part in a joke.

There's nothing wrong with Cervelli jokes.

As long as they’re left to the professionals like Lord Duggan.

Strikeouts are boring- Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.
