I think everybody admits this is speculation, but usually rumors like this aren't completely fabricated out of thin air (see steroids).

I'm shocked...

oh wait a minute… no I’m not.

To say that I saw this coming would be a lie.

But lately it feels like all the “can’t miss 16 year olds” are turning into decent 19 year old prospects. Every time there’s one of these young kids (i.e. Sano this year) I take it with a grain or two of salt.

Makes me wonder if and when there is an international draft how much of it will continue.

With all the 'bad press'

surrounding Tabata…I got no qualms giving him up, even if it was for Marte and Nady.

…and don’t give me he’s their #2 prospect. The Pirates farm system is a pile of crap.

Rectum? Damn near killed em!

If he's really mid 20's then he has absolutely zero power projection left.

That’s kind of a big deal.

Strikeouts are boring- Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

A similar thing happened to the Yanks in regard to Soriano.
I wonder if they simply don’t care about age rumors because they have the money to ignore rumors.
I know this happens to teams all the time- I’m doing some research into how frequent it is, and if the Yanks suffer more or less frequently compared to other teams.

You have to add 3 years to any Latin player who didn't grow up in the States.

You just have to. Aroldis Chapman? Add 3 years.

No one should be surprised by this anymore.

Thats not the case at all.
