King Felix? Josh Johnson?
After hearing the news on Lee today, the first thing in my head was King Felix and/or Josh Johnson...What will it take to get one of these two Ace's on the Yankees staff before the All Star Break?
I'm really curious....
In my opinion, Seattle will ask for a lot, but I don't know if the Yankees have much of a choice at this point...
I ask Pinstripe Alley, who will the Yankees need to dish out to obtain one of these two aces?

Felix is out of the question
Perhaps Johnson and we’re going to have to give up a lot. I’d say Betances or Banuelos, along with Nova, Joba, and Montero/Romine. Probably Montero.
There's always next year
Please, stop overreacting
The Phillies getting Lee means nothing until the WS. Felix is out of the question, and even if he wasn’t, it’d take Hughes+Montero, one of the Killer B’s plus other parts. Josh Johnson would probably cost us about the same. Let’s not go into overkill here guys.
I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious.
Vince Lombardi
I would do that in a heartbeat
It would take most likely Hughes, all 3 B’s, Montero, Nunez and Adams

Johnson signed an extension last year.
And Felix is not going anywhere. Neither is an option.
Let's cut through the crap, Vaughn. I only got one thing to say to you: "Strike this mother f*cker out."
Felix signed an extension last year too. Although both of their salary take big pay spikes after this season. So a deadline deal for Johnson wouldn’t be out of the question since he would have 2.5 years left (he signed a 4 year extension so last season, this season and 2 more) and the 2 remaining years would be at $13.75M which seems like a lot for the Marlins.
These 2 pieces aren’t being moved. I’m glad of that because it would cost way too much, just for one player. Nobody’s that great. A-Rod was the best player in baseball and we traded Soriano and Arias (1 went into decline and 1 never inclined). Hopefully our move is similar to that.

The only way the Yankees get either of those players
is if they literally let the Marlins/Mariners take whatever they want. Monter/Gardner/Brackman/Banuelos/Betances/Hughes might get it done.
No chance on either
