Pateince, bats, and bullpen
will get us to the World Series. No one has faith in our starting pitching any more?
I'd be concerned
With Sabathia and mostly Hughes. Not as much Sabathia, he is still a great pitcher. But I’d be concerned with Hughes and do not look forward to that Burnett start.

I heard Ortiz shot an 81 this morning!
I’m sorry… I had to let that out. I give you credit for actually watching these games.. I love baseball but would never sit and watch the playoffs if the Yankees were out.

Again wasn't Romo's fault.
Romo is a positive on this team. Not even a top 5 problem. THROUGH THICK AND THIN.
Maybe you’re a LeBron and Cowboys hater bias? eh?

But Bledsoe won a Super Bowl!
really though, he won that AFC title game in 2001 that sent them to their first Super Bowl victory.

I am SO
psyched for tonight’s game. I’d love to see a 1-0 walkoff victory with Jeter scoring from first on an A-Rod double to the left-center field gap. Sound good?

OK, Gang
Enough is enough. The back-and-forth, immature stupidity that is going on with the responses and the baiting of Best of Boston stops now. The banhammer comes out if it doesn’t. ‘Best’ is here all the time, does not trash talk, is a terrific sports fan and tries to contribute.
Those of you baiting and acting like 5-year-olds — and you know who you are — are embarrassing the website.
Thank you
and sorry.

Unfortunately, some folks see ‘Boston’ and automatically want to discredit the fact that you are allowed to walk the earth and — egads! — have an opinion about the Yankees. It’s too bad.

bbs is a good contributor here
There was nothing wrong with what she said above…she just rubs some of us the wrong way occasionally when she says things like “sorry, burnett is just not that good” with no backing at all.

If we went over to OTM and posted, “sorry, Beckett is just bad”, you’re banned right away.
PSA actually has a lot of leeway with the rules. But sometimes it becomes too much. And some of her comments without backup fall into that category.

That should clear up any question on who starts game four
And yet, I’m sure we will have at least 17 people saying they think CC is starting Game 4 if the Yankees lose today. Well he isn’t. The Yankees made their choice before the series started and it ain’t changing (and shouldn’t change). Burnett will and should start Game 4. I’ll be watching and rooting for him on every pitch.
Time for Andy to have a big postseason game tonight and put the Yankees in command of the series. Lets go Andy!
I hate all Boston sports teams
I’m not sure if you had me in your original calculation of 17, but it is absolute insanity if we don’t try and squeeze an extra start out of CC in this series.
But it was also pretty insane to look at ~15 innings of Phil Hughes pitching well in Arlington and 7 innings of the ALDS and make him the game two starter, so I guess you are correct in that they are being consistent.
Also, until I see AJ on the mound in Game 4, I won’t take anything that is being said for certain.
