Wassup with Wang?
I haven't heard much talk about Chien-Ming Wang. Dr Andrews said he should start throwing off a mound in Feb. Have the Bombers made any moves toward making him any offer at all? Do they even want him to come back? I think they should have at least tried to sign him because if he can get back to form, that would make our rotation pretty powerful 1 to five and with Joba and Phil coming out of the pen adds to our pitching depth. What do we have to lose by signing him to a 1 or 2 years deal?

I don’t think that’s the case any more. I think that changed with the last CBA a few years ago.

Seems to me that the Yanks, and all the other teams in baseball, are waiting to see CMW throw before they gamble on him.
