Yankees 6, Blue Jays 4: Countdown
61 Ks for Dave Robertson- 41IP.
20 19: the new magic number, following the Sox loss.
13 wins for Andy Pettitte- second on the team, and on his way to his best season since 2005.
8 men left on base by Swisher.
7 hits for Jeter to pass Lou Gehrig (I'm rooting for a 3 hit game tomorrow and a 4 hit game on Monday when Edwantsacracker and I will be at the first game of the double header).
6 wild innings from Andy Pettitte today
5 games played in September, 4 wins.
4 hits allowed- none by the bullpen.
3 career saves for Phil Hughes. Leave him in the bullpen forever? (sarcasm)
2 hits and 2 RBIs for Melky- the kid is getting hot again.
1 win to take the series.

People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring. ~Rogers Hornsby
I'll be at the Stadium...
Monday night, and Wednesday night… so sorry John, I’m pulling for one of those to be Jeet’s night!! Which means it’ll probably happen Tuesday…
I wish the playoffs could start right now, when this team is just rolling… but they are playing better overall this year than they have in years, so I am trying to have faith that it’ll translate to October.
I’ll be there Wednesday night, too. I’d be ok with him wait until then.

true...
Joba’s got a long way to go before he has to “get it together”.
They might play in NY, but they don’t think “NY”. Joba is gonna have all the time he needs to prove if he can’t cut it as a starter.
