Jobbed Again
Anyone else here so tired of the coddled one ? I mean Joba Chamberlain. What happened to this guy ? If he is not ready to play in the Majors then by all means let him spend a few legit "seasons" in AA or AAA and let him get his act together there. I also need to see Brian "the Human Forfeit" Bruney elsewhere as well. I am new here so by all means I am anxious to make friends but my opinion can be changed - sometimes ! LOL

All I know is that
1) he’s on an innings limit
and 2) He’s gonna start a game 4 in the playoffs.
It wouldn’t make sense to make him a long releiver right now, cuz you want to keep him in a starters """rhythm"""".
That’s all. I hate watching, its dumb to me to watch and Im sure Joba himself doesn’t like it either; when you go out there and the coaches tell you you’re coming out in the 3rd or 4th no matter what, that messes with you.
He’s not really showing that he’s really worthy of saving right now by struggling, but I really don’t know how someone could succeed in the situation they are putting him in.
I don’t know what the innings limit is now, whether its 150 or 170, I have no clue. But that’s why they are limiting his innings.
Sending him to AAA is not a good idea either, cuz I don’t even think they are playing games anymore….and also he’d be throwing 3 innings down there too against lesser comp.
GODZZIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
Joba Rules
What I don’t understand is how did he have a 98 mph fastball when he first came up and had better control. He never gets above 93 and he rarely throws 1st pitch strikes. If he lacks arm strength or stamina or both then why don’t they put him on a conditioning program that will help him out; has there ever been a pitcher that has been babied like this? We need a better 4th starter than Joba for the playoffs; I feel more comfortable with Mtre or Gaudin than Joba.
Joba Rules
I’m sorry, does anyone that works outside the Yankee organization actually think these rules are a good idea? I can’t blame Joba for his sub-par performance lately. Who could succeed under such micro-management?
Better to be safe than sorry
See Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, Francisco Liriano, etc. I know a bunch of fans got caught up in the Joba hype last year but I say who cares?! Joba is still young and his body is still capable of adjusting to whatever on-the-fly workout regimen the Yankees want for him to stay prepared to pitch.
