Yankees 4, Red Sox 2: Short and Sweet
You're the Yankees.
You've won the division again after a year away from the postseason. You've won your 100th game. After an 0-8 start, you split the season series with your arch-rivals 9-9.
And you celebrate with Miller Lite? Really?
Ommegan Brewery (Cooperstown, NY) is missing a real marketing opportunity here, that's all I'm saying.
After a long, wet day at the Stadium, I'm going to go kick back with one of my own.
Stay classy, Division Champs.

yessir!
Couldn’t stand the 120IPA tho, gave me the shits.
90IPA is just fine, tho the 60IPA is a staple in my fridge. Love most all of their brews.
Id rather piss in a bottle, refrigerate it and throw in some sparkling water…in addition to more water and drink that concoction than settle for Miller lite…….

Beautiful day....
Sweep our arch rivals and clinch first place all at the same time….Giants throw a shutout, Jets win again and both football teams are 3-0.
I fully expect Warren Buffett to call me and declare he is my long lost uncle.
Does it get better than this? Oh Yeah…The Prize in a few more weeks…#27.
We did better 'cause we got better...Yogi
You don't waste good beer on clinching the division
You use the good beer when you go to the World Series.
Magnificent!

Miller Lite.....
dog pee if you ask me. But the best IS yet to come. But as was stated earlier, then they can bring out the good MICRO BREW. Give me a good Porter, Amber, Stout, ETC…
Been a YANKEE fan since probably 1951-1952 and this is STILL exciting. Now that I am retired I can enjoy the post season (I have most of my projects at home caught up). This will be enjoyable.
And a side note, Andy looked pretty fair today. And Joba was finally (close) to the Joba we have expected.

Congratulation Yankees!
It’s a fine day today for the Yankee Fans and the team on winning the division and sweeping our rivals while clinching the division as well. On we go on as we face the Tigers in ALDS (If they don’t blow it, lol).

time to start talking about the post-season roster
Well, maybe not “start.” Any chance Bruney pitched his way on to the roster today? I still think Robertson, if healthy, should be the tenth pitcher (assuming that it’s CC, Burnett, Pettitte, Joba, Rivera, Hughes, Aceves, Coke, and Marte, and that it’s only 10 pitchers in the first round). But Girardi seems to be giving Bruney every chance to show that he should be on the roster.

Robertson may not be ready for the ALDS
So it’s very likely Bruney might get the last spot if he keeps pitching efficiently. I’m sure we’ll see a lot of him in the next 6 games.

bruney had a good outing..
That’s why I wanted to clinch as early as possible to give gerardi a chance to see where his bench and relivers stand in the regular season games that are left. Pitch bruney as much as possible find out where his stuff is at…and make a decision…just didn’t want him to get thown in any games that were somewhat meaningful
